Mitchell Caverns Return to index page
Mitchell Caverns are near Essex, Ca, north of I-40. They consist
of three caverns. The price for admission is very reasonable.
Bring a good flashlight also. I always like to have my own
light so I can look at what I want to look at.
We went home by way of Amboy and saw salt is mined. The camera
didn't pick up the colors too good and I didn't have the right angles
to get them. The colors are really pretty in person.
