Bigfoot
Ok, I got your attention, albeit by devious means.

This section is about a six week, 600 mile trip from the Port of
Long Beach to a power plant in Springerville, Az.

I joined the trip after it had been on the road for about a week.
I met the other drivers and the load, on northbound I-15 just
north of the scales, near San Bernardino, Ca

The first night I was with it, we made it to Hesperia, 10 miles.
Then we sat for 3 days waiting on permits and the California
Highway Patrol.

It went on like this for the next 5 weeks.

While in California, we ran at night.  In Arizona, half was run
during the day and the other half was run at night.  For
escorts, we had one front and back, then there were up to six
CHP units or Arizona DPS units running with us.

The dimensions of the load you may ask??

Well the trailer is called Bigfoot due to the size.

With three tractors, the load, and the trailer, we were 20 feet
wide, 18 feet tall, 297 feet long, and 1.1 million pounds.
Compare this to the normal tractor trailer combination that is
generally 8'-6" feet wide, 13'-6" tall, about 65-70 feet long, and
weighing in at 80,000 pounds.

Now to the pictures.
